Dear Editor:
I would like to take the time to congratulate Ward F Councilwoman Viola Richardson and Rolando Lavarro for their victory for the two council at large seats. I would have to say you guys worked a tough campaign. Jersey City is in need of true reform and I hope you can bring it on the council. Now that the rubber stamps are gone- (Ahmad and Velazquez) – we could get Jersey City working again. I hope each of you fulfill your campaign promises and fight what’s best for the people especially our youth. Also now since the Ward F Council seat will be vacant, I hope Mayor Healy would do a quality search for a new councilperson for Ward F. I’m encouraging him to find someone within the community because their are a lot of qualified people. Once again, congrats to Richardson and Lavarro and now it’s time for the Committed to Service Team to get to work.
