SECAUCUS — Former New York Giants player Carl Banks and several others from the team will be present at Wendy’s in Secaucus on Nov. 30 when the restaurant donates half of all of its proceeds to benefit Tomorrows Children’s Fund (TCF). TCF has helped local 2-year-old resident Ava Krajewski through her battle with Leukemia, among other children in town. Wendy’s will donate all proceeds sold between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.
“We try to keep Dave Thomas’ ideals and beliefs at the heart of the Wendy’s culture,” said Leon Magnes of Wendy’s. “One thing that David believed was that everyone has a responsibility to give something back to the community where we live and work.”
