A funeral mass was offered Nov. 11 at St. Joseph of the Palisades Church for Elizabeth Sasso (nee Palumbo), 96. She passed away Nov. 7. She was born in Boston, Mass., and lived over 50 years in North Bergen where she was a seamstress for many years before retiring. She was the wife of the late Donato Sasso and the mother of Nicholas Sasso and the late Cosmo Sasso. She was the mother-in-law of Geraldine and Edna Sasso and the sister of Jeanette Pangini and the late Grace Pappagallo. She was also the grandmother of Elizabeth Mancini, Joseph Sasso, Donato Sasso and his wife Gina and the late Daniel Sasso as well as the great-grandmother of 6.
