Landmark Loew’s in JC to host part of comic convention

TV and film stars Lee Meriwether (Catwoman, Time Tunnel, Barnaby Jones, Miss America), Terry Moore (Mighty Joe Young, Batman), Donna Loren (Beach Blanket movies, Dr. Pepper, Batman), Deanna Lund (Land of The Giants, Batman), Susan Silo (Batman and animation) and Larry Storch (F-Troop, voice of The Joker 1960’s Batman cartoons), will all be making appearances at this years NJ Comic Expo, Saturday and Sunday November 12 & 13 to celebrate the 45 anniversary of the Batman TV series and first Batman film. The star power celebrities will be joined by Batman experts Joel Eisner (Batbook), Jim Beard (Gotham City 14 Miles) as well as Batfan and sculptor Johnny “Resin’ Stacks.
This year’s NJ Comic Expo will have events at two locations. The Teaneck Armory is the site of the two day Holybatvention and Expo hosting dealers, the original Batcopter, several Batmobiles including the both 1966 and 1989 movie models, Batcycles and a special custom made Batbike by Connecticut Batfan Jerry Ventrella. The Landmark Loews Theater in Jersey City will be the site for a Red Carpet event on Saturday evening, a screening of a Fox Archive 35mm print of the original Batman movie with its Catwoman, Lee Meriwether, on hand to share some of here memories about the making of the iconic film. More special guests, rare video presentations and a screening of Little Batman are part of the evening as well.
