Secaucus Housing Employee Marks 25 Years

The Secaucus Housing Authority celebrated maintenance supervisor Joseph Junewicz’s 25 years of service to the agency with a party on Sept. 23 at the Rocco Impreveduto Community Room. The celebration was attended by more than 60 residents, current and former office and maintenance staff members, Secaucus Housing Authority Board of Commissioners Vice Chairman Louis Canavari, and former Deputy Executive Director Michael Altilio.
Junewicz’s anniversary coincides with the 25th anniversary of the opening of Rocco Impreveduto Towers, which opened their doors on County Avenue in September 1986. Since the opening, the housing authority has invested millions of dollars in renovating the building’s interior and exterior and created a health and fitness center for seniors.
“Joe has been a tremendous asset to the Secaucus Housing Authority,” Marra said of Junewicz. “He’s always there when the residents need him and he is a very dedicated employee. I hope he will be with us for another 25 years.”
