A funeral took place Oct. 14 for Barbara Sauer, 68, of North Bergen. She passed away Oct. 11. She was born in New York City and lived most of her life in North Bergen. She was a homemaker. Barbara was the wife of the late George Sauer and mother of Denise Petrotto and George J. Sauer. She was the mother-in-law of Mark Petrotto and the sister-in-law of Marie Lund. She was the sister of Jacquline Giannantonio and the aunt of Joseph Giannantonio, Louise Boss, Mary Giannantonio, Alice Amico and Kristina Gay. She was also the friend of Etta Wikfors and Cathy Blume. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
