Funeral mass was offered Oct. 21 at Our Lady of Libera Church, West New York, for Anthony R. Ferrainolo, 65. He passed away Oct. 17 at his residence. Born in Jersey City he was the principal of No. 2 School in West New York and formerly the principal at the Middle School in West New York. He coached the West New York High School baseball team and is the winningest coach in the state of New Jersey. He was also was the head football coach for Memorial High School and the offensive coach for the Jersey City State university football team. Miller Stadium in West New York was recently named in his honor. He was the husband of Anne (nee Heller) Ferrainolo; son of Angelina (nee Romano) and the late Ralph Ferrainolo; father of Kim Napoli, Michele Ablaschai, Keri DelloBuono and stepfather of Sasha and Jesse Capelli; father-in-law of Nick, Bill and Sal; dear brother of Roseann Loschiavo and Julie Ayres; and grandfather of Nicholas, Gianna, Ava, Alex, Emma and Lucas. He is also survived by his former wife Rosemarie Ferrainolo. Services arranged by the Vainieri Funeral Home, North Bergen.
