NORTH BERGEN AND BEYOND — North Bergen records told the Record on Sunday that they spied a 4-foot-tall deer running through their yards.
The strapping young buck was spotted around 73rd Street and Broadway around 8:30 a.m., the police told the newspaper.
The animal leapt over several fences toward a park, where higher fences contained him. The state’s wildlife department tranquilized him and took him away.
