Theater group to run Hoboken Ghost Tour

The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC), in association with Hoboken’s Mayor Dawn Zimmer and Hoboken City Hall, will be taking their Scary stories to the street this year with Hoboken Ghost Tour .
Presented just in time for the spooky and spirited time of year that Halloween brings, the tour will visit various locations in Hoboken (within a six block radius) where their skilled storytellers will tell local tales of the undead and the paranormal.
TTC has been having great fun with their scary stories on the waterfront over the past few years. Previously hosted in Sybil’s Cave the first year, then TTC’s own studio last year, they decided to up the ante this year with taking ghost story enthusiasts on a tour of Hoboken and the spooky residents that live locally.
“There are so many great, local hauntings, that we couldn’t keep our patrons in one location anymore!” noted Producing Artistic Director, David Zimmerman. Stories that will be featured include: The Wedding Couple, The Bad Closet Story, The Ghost of Pearl White, the story of St. Joseph’s and the glowing eyes; and much, much more!
All ghost stories and folklore have been researched, and while TTC doesn’t promise that any supernatural activity will occur at the various locations on the tour, they can’t say that strange things won’t happen. Wear your comfortable shoes and warm clothes. the chills you will get from these stories are sure to make the rest of you uncomfortable as you tingle with terror!
