Oh boya! Goya may move hundreds of jobs to Secaucus and to possible new Jersey City location

HUDSON COUNTY — Goya Foods Inc. will keep its Secaucus location but also may open a distribution site in Jersey City, because they found a site that is eligible for the Urban Transit Hub tax credits program on County Road industrial park in Jersey City, according to NJBiz.
The state’s Economic Development Authority is scheduled to hear their application this week. The company was seeking an incentive package worth between $70 million and $100 million.
The expansion could result in hundreds of jobs moving to both the Secaucus and Jersey City facilities from New York City.
