To the Editor:
It seems the behavior of City Attorney Charles D’Amico at the September City Council meeting was quite unprofessional. It looks like Mr. D’Amico was trying to change the subject and divert attention from Gary La Pelusa’s question regarding the city awarding a contract to Millennium Strategies and if there was a conflict of interest. Did Mr. D’Amico feel he had a power trip when he did it, and did his ego inflate?
Also it would look suspicious to anyone when you make a donation to a politician’s campaign and soon afterwards you get awarded a city job as city attorney.
