HUDSON COUNTY — While Tropical Storm Lee, which battered the South over the weekend, will have dissipated by the time the remnants make their way to New Jersey this week, forecasters say Hudson County is still expecting more than an inch of rain from Monday through Wednesday. The storm could add water to areas already soaked from Hurricane Irene.
The more powerful Hurricane Katia is still churning in the Atlantic. If it heads north, out to sea, as predicted, it may not be much of a threat except for rough surf. But anything can change.
