A funeral mass took place July 29 at Madonna R.C. Church On The Hill for Mark C. Wengerter, 56, of Toms River. He passed away peacefully at home on July 22. Mark was born and raised in West New York and was a graduate of Memorial High School, moving to Toms River 17 years ago. He was predeceased by his mother Virginia Williams Wengerter in 1999. Surviving are his father, John A. Wengerter of Toms River; a brother, John Michael and his wife Ramona of Emerson; two sisters, Ginger Rendine and her husband Peter of West Milford, and Susan Coppola and her husband Frank of Demarest; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
