Once again, we have been humbled by the outpouring of support from so many for our third annual Beach Party event, recently held at Martell’s Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant, N.J. We’ve doubled our numbers from 2010!
The Joseph Lillo Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundation for Children has been blessed by all of you who continue to come out and help our foundation on its path to raise awareness, as well as help those children in need. So many have benefitted from what we have accomplished in three short years. With this year’s event, we’ve been able to start our annual scholarship fund, as well as an endeavor with UMDNJ and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s SMA research teams.
