St. Ann’s Feast wraps up with statue procession in Hoboken

HOBOKEN – The Church of St. Ann, located at 7th and Jefferson streets, planned to finish their 101st annual St. Ann’s Feast on Tuesday afternoon with a mass, followed by the procession of the 600 pound statue of St. Ann, the patron saint of mothers, through the streets of Hoboken.
The Catholic mass begins at 11 a.m., and then the feast opens at 12 p.m. for one final day.
The statue comes out for the procession after the mass. The statue of St.
Ann is carried by her female followers.
The final musical performance at the feast this year will be performed by The Bronx Wanderers, described as a “doo-wop and pop rock and roll” band.
The Bronx Wanderers hit the stage a little after 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.
