Concerned Citizens of Bayonne hold successful fundraiser

To the Editor:
The Concerned Citizens of Bayonne held the organization’s annual fundraiser on Thursday, April 14, at The Chandelier Restaurant, Bayonne. The fundraiser was well attended, and everyone had a wonderful time.
Special thanks to the committees who worked so very hard and did a wonderful job, namely: “The Dynamic Duo” Marie Shahpazian and Loretta Cerullo, event co-chairpersons, decorations, mystery prizes, etc.; Jean Perrucci, reservations; Alice Rooth and Penny Covella, 50/50s; Carol Kochanski and Carol Savo, specials; Joanne Kosakowski, Geri Petlik and Marianne Kosakowski, majors; Pat Pirozzi Polera and Carol Bednarski, Tree of Fortune; Kay Mosca and Charlene Bini, dine around; Jerry Kelly and Joe Kochanski, fundraiser treasurers; Henry Sanchez and Angela Martorana, ticket packages; and to Carol Savo for the beautiful program artwork.
Thanks, also, to John Baccarella for leading the “National Anthem”; Fr. Greg Perez of Trinity Parish for the blessing; all who attended the fundraiser; all who helped set up, both Wednesday and Thursday, and distributed the gifts; the staff of the Chandelier Restaurant for the fine service and wonderful food; and “Bayonne Community News,” “The Jersey Journal” and Cablevision for publishing our meeting and event notices.
Thank you, too, to our members and all who contributed to our fundraiser (individuals and businesses). We are very grateful for your support.
Our 50/50 raffle, which benefited The Jean and Frank Perrucci Afterschool Academic Achievement Program, was a huge success. Thank you to BCB Community Bank for allowing us to sell our 50/50s at the bank and to all who purchased the raffle tickets.
It was a wonderful evening, a great way to celebrate our organization’s 41 years of service to the Bayonne community!
