Dear Editor:
I’m writing a letter to the Editor’s column because of my deep affection for the late Ed “ The Faa” Ford along with your sports Columnist Big Jim Hague. It appears that there may not be any other real sports person that can write about sports in this area.
Many of us have benefitted by their knowledge of sports and people who participate in these matters. I’m an example of their kindness in all of my endeavors, as a player, coach, scout, fund raiser for the youth of Hudson County as well as all over the state.
I do not want to magnify my own accomplishments, but at least “The Faa” & Big Jim Hague have given the youth of our county a voice in sports.
