Funeral services have been held for Maureen S. Slezak, 68, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away at home April 13 after an 18-month battle with cancer. Born in Hoboken, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Isabella (Protomastro) Sheehan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Sheehan. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Robert Slezak; four children; a sister, Isabelle Toto and her husband Regis; a brother, Patrick Sheehan; an aunt, Anne Crimmins; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
