A celebration of the life of Andrea M. Nelson was held April 14 at New Hope Baptist Church, Jersey City. “Bubbles” passed away on April 10 – ‘cares all past, home at last, ever to rejoice’. She was the wife of the late Edward Nelson Sr.; mother of Kimberly Nelson Baker (Gregory), Aaron Gadsden; stepmother of Delores Nelson Ak, Joshua Nelson (Ann), Edward Nelson Jr., Helen Sapp (Darryl), Loretta Mc Knight, and the late Benjamin and Alphonso Nelson; grandmother of 4 grandchildren; daughter of late Robert and Hazel Smith; sister of Carol Stevenson (Joseph), Teresa Brooks (Albert), Sharon Richardson, the late Robert Jr., Brigadier and Joseph Smith; lovable sister-in-law of Carmen Nelson; best friend of Lorraine Jackson and Fannie Stinson; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends and the New Hope Baptist Church.
