A funeral mass was offered April 15 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Jersey City, for Charles Micele, 79. He died April 12 at Bayonne Medical Center. Born in Bayonne he was a lifelong Jersey City resident. He worked at the Jersey City Court House for 22 years. He was the president of Union Local 1045, Jersey City. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmela “Millie” (Safio) and Salvatore “Sam” Micele. Surviving are his wife Janet (Stender) Micele; his children, Gina Fiadini, Sal Micele, Karen Callahan, Vinnie Micele, and Lisa Violante; a brother Jerry Micele; and six grandchildren, Janine, Tracy, Mikey, Allison, Nicole, and Michael.
