A funeral mass was held April 16 at St. Lawrence RC Church, Weehawken, or Edward S. Johnson Sr., 71, formerly of Hoboken. He passed away April 13 at Hoboken University Medical Center. He was the husband of Maureen (nee O’Brien); father of Patricia Brando (Michael), Diane Caban (Juan), William Johnson, Edward Johnson Jr., John Johnson (Joyce), Richard Johnson (Karen), and Michael Johnson; grandfather of eight granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter. He was born in Hoboken. Edward served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was a trucker driver for Transportation Displays, Inc. NYC, and a member of American Legion Post 107, Hoboken. Services arranged by the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
