Funeral services were held April 9 for Vidya A. Bridgmohan, 59, formerly of 59 Village, Berbice, Guyana. He passed away April 5 in Jersey City. In Guyana, Bridge pursued a career in electrical engineering, graduating from Guyana Technical Institute in Georgetown. He brought his family to the United States in 1985, settling in Jersey City, and continued in the electrical field. In 2000, he joined NJ Transit, in Hoboken and DG3, in Jersey City. Bridge was the son of the late Barrelwine and Basdai Bridgmohan. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Rita; his son, Naresh and his wife Nadira; his daughter, Aruna; three brothers, Rohan, Balwant and Sugrim; five sisters, Babe, Drew, Beeb, Chan and Reena; and many nephews and nieces.
