To the Editor:
Many thanks to our Bayonne Police Department. On Monday morning, I was approached by a man posing as a city worker (not true). I became suspicious about him as he claimed to be working in the area on a water main break (not true). So being an alert senior, I called none other than our city Bayonne Police Department.
They immediately sent an officer to my home, and with their great planning, they were staked out and waiting for the perpertrator!
The police did some excellent police work! Special thanks to the following police: Police Sgt. Boyle, Police Officer Czapla, P.O. Restivo, P.O. Skalski, P.O. Brattole, and last, but not least, Daniel Aidukas, police dispatcher.
