A mass of Christian burial was celebrated March 24 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hoboken, for Charles J. Dolan, 79. “Schatze” passed away March 19 at his residence. Born in Hoboken to the late Charles and Margaret Dolan, he was a lifelong resident. Charles was a retired longshoreman who worked at Pier A in Hoboken for over 40 years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was the brother of James Dolan, Margaret Brown and the late Sr. Mary Bernard, O.P., Michael Dolan, Claire Dolan and Rev. Bernard Dolan; and uncle of Jennifer Dolan and Luis Brown. Services arranged by the Earl F. Bosworth Funeral Home, Hoboken.
