A funeral service took place March 22 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jersey City, for Elizabeth Anna Schnakenberg, 87, formerly of Union City. She died on March 19. She was the wife of Walter; mother of Linda Lohsen and her husband Roy; sister of William Jamin and predeceased by George Jamin; and grandmother of Emily Lohsen-Carcich, Jessica Lohsen, Adam Lohsen, and predeceased by Rebecca Lohsen. Elizabeth was a long-time supervisor at Yardley’s Soap Company in Union City. She was a life-long parishioner at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jersey City. Services arranged by the Volk Leber Funeral Home, Teaneck.
