JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND — An alleged thief was implicated last week after saliva apparently linked him to a crime scene.
Adam Brewer, already incarcerated at the Hudson County jail for unrelated charges, was served with burglary and theft charges on March 9 in connection with an Oct. 27 burglary of $106,000 of computer equipment at High Point Solutions in Sparta. Sparta detectives, along with members of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s office and State Police, organized a sting that netted two of Brewer’s alleged accomplices, according to the Daily Record. Brewer was nabbed after DNA of his saliva on the floor of the crime scene was a match for his, according to the Record.
