A funeral service was held Feb. 26 at Good News Bible Mission, Jersey City, for Rose Ethel Parker. She passed away Feb. 19 at home. Rose was employed with the United States Postal Service as a mail handler. She was the mother to Freedom, Carrie, and Omecca Parker; daughter to Wayland and Jean Parker; sister to Wayland Jr., Stanley, Ricky, Sheila, Jean and the late Robert; grandmother to six and great-grandmother to four; and also survived by a host of many other relatives and friends.
