A celebration of the life of Mary Dantzler took place Feb. 25 at the St. Michael’s Methodist Church, Jersey City. She passed away Feb. 18. She was the wife of the late George Dantzler Sr.; mother of Gregory, Donald Dantzler, and the late Herman, John Ed, Louis, George Jr., James, Sandra Dantzler, and Beatrice Matthews; mother-in-law of Cathy , Sylvia, Deloris, Oneita, Loretta Dantzler, Kary Matthews, and Ray Hampton; grandmother of 16 grandchildren; great-grandmother of 20; great great grandmother of one; great-grandaunt/mother of Ethel Johnson (Herman); and a whole host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, and St. Michael’s Methodist Church Family and friends.
