A funeral service took place Feb. 27 at Mt. Sinai Full Gospel Church, Jersey City, for Bridgette Blackwell. She passed away Feb. 21 at the Jersey City Medical Center. Bridgette worked in the nursing field. She was mother to Markeya Blackwell; daughter to Charlotte Blackwell and James; sister to Kevin, Tamala, and Janell; and companion Juan; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
