How the other half lives

JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND — Goldman Sachs employees on the Jersey City waterfront are now going to get their own ferries.
NY Waterway already has a ferry service between Manhattan and the Goldman Sachs building in Jersey City. But Business News and other outlets are reporting that the financial company has purchased two private ferry boats to squire Goldman staff back and forth from Midtown Manhattan. The two 70-foot vessels christened the Jersey and York have been enlisted “to ensure that employees get to work on time.”
They’re reportedly equipped with plush booths, flat panel TV screens, well-appointed cabins, flash loos, and a few slots(in steerage?) for non-Goldman passengers.
