To the Editor:
This letter is to commend the Yellow Cab Taxi Company for their non-stop service during the recent snowstorms. When no other taxi service was available and when the buses were not running, Yellow Cab was out there with their cabs and a mini-bus. There was no extra charge, and the drivers were on time.
Thanks also to the Superintendent of Public Works Gary Chmielewski and his great crew. The streets were plowed and salted.
Now if only I had been able to drive out of my parking lot, this letter would not be necessary. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the company of the other passengers, and the cab drivers impressed me with their driving skills and their wonderful positive spirit.
