Funeral mass was held Feb. 17 at St. Michael’s Church for Alice Ajamian, 79. “Ammie” passed away at Christ Hospital on Feb. 13. Alice was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She was deputy clerk of the Civil Court of Hudson County for 25 years, retiring in 1992. Alice was a longtime communicant of St. Michael’s Church, member of Holy Rosary Senior Citizens and a devotee of the St. Jude Novena, taking part each week with candle donations before the 7:15 a.m. mass. Alice was predeceased by her husband Edward Ajamian, Sr. She was the mother of Dennise Ajamian and companion Thomas and Edward J. Ajamian and wife Patricia; sister of Theresa (Pat) McCormack and husband James and the late Dennis Ryan; and grandmother of Stephanie, Michael and Tyler.
