FOXWORTH, WILLIE M

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at Friendship Baptist Church, Bayonne, for Willie Mae Foxworth. She was born in Savannah, Ga. to the late Anne and George Wilson. She relocated to Jersey City, New Jersey over 50 years ago. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Bayonne for over 40 years. She served as a member of the Church’s Aid and was a member of the Gospel Chorus. She worked as a seamstress at Maidenform of Bayonne for over thirty years until her retirement in 1978. Willie Mae was a strong woman of God who enjoyed singing and reading the Bible as much as she could. She was always known to speak her mind to whomever she met no matter who they were. She truly enjoyed life and all it had to offer. Truly an independent spirit and full of life. She will truly be missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Surviving to cherish her memory are a son, Norman Donegan; grandchildren: William, Dean, Christopher, Simon, and Frank Taylor, Claire Smith, Adele Donegan, Wanda, Helena and Henry Hayes, Charlene Cornish, Carmen Donegan; grandchildren-in-law, Donnell Smith, Jackie Taylor, Linda Taylor; great-grandchildren: Brittney Smith, Jerrica Hayes, Constance Hayes, Chrystal Spencer, Tia Leone, Madison Taylor, Carrington Leone, Mackenzie Taylor, Stephon Taylor, Zackary Taylor and a host of friends. Services arranged by the Jackson Funeral Residence, Jersey City.
