A funeral mass took place Jan. 28 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne, for John P. Pignotti, 61. He passed away Jan. 23 at Bayonne Medical Center with his family by his side. He worked for N.U.I./Elizabethtown Gas Co. as the Director of I.T. Services and as a semi-retired computer consultant. He was also a member of the Bayonne Sicilian Club. John was the husband of Barbara (Keyes); father of John Philip II and his wife Cynthia, and Barbara and her husband Michael Smith; grandfather of Giavanna Smith and John Philip Pignotti III; brother of Maria Manzo; brother-in-law of Thomas Keyes; uncle of Raymond and Starla Manzo, Jordan and Sarah Keyes, Karen Ramoo, and Tracy Witthohn; and is survived by many other great nieces and nephews.
