A funeral mass was offered Feb. 4 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church in Hoboken for Frank “Frickie” Branda 99, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away Jan. 31 at Palisade General Hospital in North Bergen. He was employed with the City of Hoboken for 45 years as a vehicle maintenance inspector with the Department of Transportation. A five year U.S. Army Veteran, Frank served his country proudly. Surviving is one brother, Anthony Branda, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Jessie Branda, Ann Scarpone, and Mary Petrillo; and two brothers John and Joseph. Frickie also worked for the Joseph Caporino Candy and Confectionary Wholesaler on Adams Street in Hoboken for many years. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
