A funeral mass was held Jan. 19 at Immaculate Conception Church for Julia Hamm, 70, a fifteen year resident of Secaucus, formerly of Portland, Maine. and Jersey City. She passed away Jan. 15. Julia was a member of the N.J. Sports and Exposition Authority. She was a teller supervisor at 1st Jersey National Bank and its affiliates for 24 years and was a pari-mutuel teller at the Meadowlands Racetrack for 25 years. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Bulmer and Julia Fernald; mother of Cynthia Hamm of Toms River, Pamela Mc Tiernan of Frankville, Pa., Julie Solfaro and her husband Joseph of Holmdel, and the late David Hamm Jr.; sister of Patricia Chadbourne and her husband Peter of Gorham, Maine., Carol Petty and her husband James of Naples, Maine., Debra Baade and her husband Eric of Bowdoin, Maine, and John O’Neal and his wife Rusty of Palm City, Fla., Betty Huffman of Portland, Maine., Jeanie Caulkins and her husband Allen of Newburgh, Maine. and the late Brad Fernald; grandmother of 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and companion of 22 years to William Hardt. Julia is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
