Funeral mass was offered Dec. 30 at St. Joseph R.C. Church for Josephine “Dolly” Romano, a lifelong Hoboken resident. She passed away Dec. 27 at Hoboken University Medical Center. She was a retired employee for Franklin Barkers in Hoboken. Surviving are three sisters, Claire Sebesta, Rose Vernaglia, and Violet Heitmann; two brothers, Salvatore and Gerald, and their wives Patricia and Gloria. Dolly was an aunt to her nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Carrie Romano; a brother Anthony; and a sister Louise Smith. Dolly was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Hoboken and a member of the Rosary Society at St. Francis. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
