A funeral service took place Dec. 31 for Stella Catrillo, 93, of Oakland, formerly of Secaucus and Jersey City. She passed away at the Oakland Care Center on Dec. 27. Joan was a retired employee of the Jersey City Board of Education where she worked as a custodian at Dickinson High School for over 20 years. She was communicant of Holy Rosary Church. Joan was the wife of the late Rocco Catrillo; mother of the late Robert and Edward Catrillo; mother-in-law of Florence and the late Rosemarie Catrillo, grandmother of Kimberly, Jackie and Robert and great grandmother of Lauren and Alexa.
