Jersey City’s health offices relocate after pipe break

JERSEY CITY – Due to a water pipe break at the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) at 201 Cornelison Ave., several Health Department offices are being relocated to other city buildings.
HHS administrative and fiscal offices, as well as the Division of Senior Affairs, are moving to 1 Journal Square Plaza (Kennedy Boulevard and Cottage Street). WIC, the Immunization Program, and Lead Prevention are moving to the MLK HUB, located on Martin Luther King Drive at Ege Avenue.
Existing WIC clients who had an appointment on Wed. Dec. 29, Thurs. Dec. 30, Mon. Jan. 3, or Tues. Jan. 4 are asked to call (201) 547-5682 beginning Monday to reschedule their appointment or for additional information. Any clients who had appointments beginning Wednesday are asked to report to the HUB for their appointment unless otherwise notified. – Ricardo Kaulessar
