UNION CITY – A fire on Park Avenue near 38th Street in Union City caused a building to partially collapse on Tuesday afternoon, according to a report on NJ.com.
According to the report, no residents or firefighters are believed to have been in the building. Officials said the fire started in the basement of the building, according to NJ.com, and the fire has spread to a second building.
The building, 3807 Park Ave., is a three story, multi family structure, according to the report.
