HOBOKEN — In Hoboken, the Zimmer administration declared a state of emergency for the city on Sunday night, according to a city press release. “Residents are urged to stay indoors and avoid travel unless absolutely necessary,” according to the release.
However, residents must clear snow from their sidewalks within six hours after completion of the storm.
Cars must also be removed from snow emergency routes. Streets designated as snow emergency routes have red and white signs that read, “No parking when road is snow covered.”
Hoboken City Hall will be open on Monday, Dec. 27, according to the release. – Ray Smith
