SECAUCUS — As the snow got heavier over Hudson County, work crews throughout the region were trying to stay ahead of the storm. In Secaucus, about 25 snow plows were out as of 6 p.m. clearing streets in town, where one resident estimated that snowfall had cut visibility to about 15 yards and snow was falling at perhaps an inch an hour.
Despite road conditions Mayor Michael Gonnelli said that no accidents had been reported thus far. — E. Assata Wright
