NORTH BERGEN — A 40-year-old man from North Bergen died in a two-vehicle collision on the New Jersey Turnpike at 6:45 Christmas Even morning, according to the Record of Hackensack.
“Francisco Martinez, 40, NorthBergen, was in the Astro van and also stepped out, getting hit by another vehicle,” the newspaper reported.
Another driver was also killed when he stepped out of one of the vehicles. The other occupants were injured. All were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.
