Take responsibility for your actions

To the Editor:
Who is responsible for you and your progression in life as an adult? Guess what? Society and your parents are not responsible for everything, good or bad, that happens to you. The effort and hard work you put into life usually pays off in the end. Your successes or failures are usually the cause and effect related to the right or wrong choices you make on a daily basis.
We can’t choose our parents, race, or childhood social class/status. However we can change our own path through voluntary change (free will). We all face hardships and conflicts throughout our journey in life. God, duty, honor, family, and country should be on your agenda.
So stop complaining, fabricating, and making excuses about why you can’t take responsibility for your own progression in life. And also try not to blame everybody else for your mistakes. Take responsibility for your actions and choices. Admit to human effort, and move on. Be mature about it. Stop playing the victim or martyr game.
Now, go forth and do what you were born to do.
