The De Congelio family recently gathered for a fall picnic. The first family picnic was held in 1986, spanning four generations. This years picnic spanned five. Every year approximately 75 family members gather to celebrate “traditions & family”.
It all began in 1932 when Angelo and Angelina arrived in Hoboken from Pennsylvania with their nine children. They settled into a three room cold water flat on Madison Street.
Almost eighty years later, “De Congelio” is a familiar name in Hoboken.
