Funeral mass was offered Dec. 3 at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church for Florence Breunig, 69, of Union City. She passed away Nov. 25. She was born in Hoboken and lived most of her life in Union City and Manasquan. Florence worked for many years at the Young Adult Institute in New York City before retiring. Florence had a great love of family and her cats. She loved to travel throughout her life and was a charter member of the Eurodizzies Club. She was known for her kindness and compassion for animals. She was the sister of Marie Breunig and John and wife Vera Breunig. She was also the aunt of Dr. Joshua and wife Sarah Breunig and Jared Breunig.
