HOBOKEN AND BEYOND — The TLC reality series “Cake Boss,” about Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, isn’t all fun and games. Monday night’s episode shows Buddy Valastro and crew donating desserts to the Hoboken Homeless Shelter at Third and Bloomfield streets.
There’s also some news from the shelter. They recently reported that 104 men and women got jobs this year due to their workshops and their job vocational specialists. And so far, 91 of their guests moved into their own homes. They expect to add 15 people to that list by the end of the year!
The shelter is also holding a fundraiser in Hoboken on Dec. 7.
