Funeral mass was offered Nov. 22 at St. Joseph’s Church for Catherine Henchenski, 71. She passed away at Jersey City Medical Center on Nov. 17. Born in Jersey City, Catherine remained a lifelong Jersey City resident. She was a former home health aide and a homemaker to her late husband of 54 years Richard and their children. Catherine was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. Catherine is predeceased by her husband Richard J. Henchenski and five siblings. She is survived by her five daughters, Catherine Lore and her husband Philip, Nancy Early, Susan Conklin, Karen Henchenski and Sandra Byrne and her husband Christopher; two sisters, Barbara and Mary; her brother, Pat; eight grandchildren, Bart and his wife Kara, Cathy and her husband Bill, Tara and her husband Dennis, Dana, Brittany, Nicole, Taylor and Christina; five great grandchildren, Vincent, Kyle, Aiden, Ryan and Kayla, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
