A funeral was held Nov. 20 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Phyllis Melinda Green Diane, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away Nov. 13. She was the wife of Alassane N. Diane; mother of Ashanti K. Green; daughter of Ruby Ann Green and the late Louis Bell; sister of Darlene Peay; and is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends. Phyllis received her B.A. Degree in Psychology along with a Master’s Degree. She held the position of Self-sufficiency Co-ordinator with the J.C. Housing Authority for many years.
