Areas in disrepair are an eyesore

Dear Editor:
I read a short article about construction beginning to improve Hudson Place pedestrian safety, which is all well and good. But I am reminded of the fact that, so far, I have not read an article talking about what is being done by the Zimmer Administration and the City Council to finally address the much-needed repairs at various portions of the water walkway of Frank Sinatra Park and other nearby parks. The public should always be able to fully enjoy the parks in this great city! I usually take my morning walks, and have come to be disappointed that I am not able to walk at areas that are in disrepair.
I urge the Zimmer Administration and the City Council to have the strong will and courage to tackle this problem. Not only is this an eyesore, but it is also a matter of quality of life. I will write a very similar letter to Mayor Dawn Zimmer and every member of the City Council; it’s the least I could do. Be aware, be involved, and take care of Hoboken. I think we live in a very wonderful city, as good as NYC.
